I might be still waiting for this season’s tomatoes to ripen
but I am already planning the next. I have just ordered a new lot of seeds and
I’m so excited about their arrival. Most of these heirloom beauty’s I have
never seen before. The colours and shapes are really bizarre and I’m sure will
be a talking point in garden or at table. The names are Amand Orange, Hazel
Mae, Mr Stripey, Gold Medal, Sugar Plum, Voyage, Zapotec Pleated, Orange
Blossom, Evergreen, Amish Paste and Yellow Pear. I am looking forward to the
feast of colours, textures and flavours. Here are the latest pear toms, I’m not
sure whether they are red or yellow yet but their pretty tear drop shape is
delightful.
