I have been
saving the green wine bottles from friends and loved ones visits (coughANDYcough)
with the intention of doing something
fabulous with them. In the garden somewhere...tea light holders...groovy drinking
glasses...wind chimes...the possibilities are endless.
The dark (or
light coloured one) glass bottles that you get olive oils and things like
Balsamic vinegar in, I keep also. The darker coloured bottles are better because
they keep the light out. But any of these bottles are a good size, glass and
usually they have a pourer spout and good lid which can be removed and washed
and the whole bottle used again for infused/flavoured oils.
And then there
is the very old bottles which I painstakingly dug out from various old pits,
sometimes with every finger cut to pieces by the end of the day...took home and
scrubbed clean. Those I have decided to use in a very practical manner but you
will have to wait for those pics...
